HUMANE EDUCATION CENTER
“Prevent A Rescue”

“The greatest humane act is prevention for it avoids the suffering a rescue had to endure.” -Ken Lian, DVM, Co-founder

The Question:
“How can we prevent the suffering of so many rescues?”

The Answer:
"By Teaching Life Skills"

Humane Education Center
Bridging Gaps By Building Skills

Our cause calls for rescue organizations to evolve into
Humane Education Centers that share the goals of:
1. Teaching life skills (Before Care)
2. Rescuing animals (Aftercare)
3. Creating a Prevention Culture

Better Before Care greatly reduces the need for Aftercare
